Asian seared fillet of beef salad

    g
    beef fillet
  • olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground white pepper
  • Asian dipping sauce
  • 30
    ml
    toasted sesame seeds
  • SALAD
  • 100
    g
    very young green beans, blanched and refreshed
  • 500
    ml
    bean sprouts
  • 1
    red onion, peeled and thinly sliced
  • fresh coriander to taste
  • 0.50
    bunch radishes, thinly sliced
 

Method

15 minutes
 
Rub the fillet with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat a little oil to piping hot in a heavy-based frying pan.
Sear the fillet on all sides. Remove from the stove and set aside to rest before slicing.
Toss all the salad ingredients together and divide among four plates.
Top with sliced fillet and spoon over Asian dipping sauce.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy.
