Artichokes with garlic butter

Ingredients

  • 4
    fresh artichokes
  • 250
    ml
    melted butter
  • lemon juice (half of a lemon)
  • 4
    garlic cloves

Cut off artichoke stalks, cut the top half even. Remove hard leaves on outside of artichoke. Bring large pot of water to boiling point, add a pinch of salt and place artichokes in pot. Test to see test pen if artichokes are soft. Melt butter, add lemon juice and garlic. Serve mixture with artichoke.
