Apple sauce

Ingredients

    g
    butter
  • 0.50
    onion, chopped
  • 4
    apples, peeled and diced
  • 125
    ml
    vegetable stock
  • 1
    sprig fresh thyme
  • 5
    ml
    salt and pepper
  • 4
    ml
    cayenne pepper
 

Method

30 mins
 
Heat the butter in a frying pan and sauté the onions until soft.
Add the apples and cook until caramelised and soft.
Add the vegetable stock and thyme (stripped from the stalk) and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
Serve warm with the pork.
