Anchovy palmiers

  • 400
    g
    defrosted ready rolled puff pastry
  • anchovette spread
  • 1
    egg
 

Method

 
Cut the pastry into two rectangles. Spread with anchovy spread.
Roll the rectangles from both short edges to form two equal spirals into the centre and cut into thin slices.
Place the slices on greased baking trays, brush with egg and bake at 200 ºC for 8-10 minutes or until golden in colour.
