Ingredients (8)

500.00 ml flour — cake
0.00 salt — just a pinch
10.00 ml Baking powder
5.00 ml sugar
5.00 ml Bicarbonate of soda
500.00 ml milk
2.00 eggs — extra-large
60.00 ml butter

Method:

Sift together all the dry ingredients, except the bicarbonate of soda.
Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in a little of the milk.
Beat the eggs and remaining milk together and add to the dry ingredients.
Add the dissolved bicarbonate of soda and melted butter, stirring until mixed.
Heat a small pan and spray with nonstick spray.
Pour just enough of the batter into the pan to coat the base.
Heat until air bubbles form on the surface and turn.
Fry until done and serve immediately with maple syrup and cinnamon or fresh berries.
