Abigail's favourite Caesar salad

Ingredients

  • 120
    g
    baby cos lettuce leaves
  • 400
    g
    ready-cooked chicken breast strips (or use 1 x 50 g can anchovy fillets)
  • 8
    rashers of crispy bacon
  • 12
    thin slices of fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 8
    slices French bread
  • 60
    ml
    aioli
  • Maldon sea salt to taste
  • freshly milled black pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Toss together baby cos lettuce leaves with pan-fried chicken breast strips, rashers of crispy bacon and thin slices of fresh Parmesan cheese.
Serve on slices of French bread with a dollop of aioli and season with Maldon sea saalt and freshly ground black pepper.
If you prefer, add a few chopped anchovy fillets instead of the chicken.
