Mini pizza bites

  • 1
    French baguette
  • 2
    Eskort Smoked Viennas, chopped
  • 1/2
    chopped tomatoes
  • 5
    dried basil
  • 5
    dried oregano
  • 2
    grated mozzarella
Servings: Change Serving


Preheat the oven to 180°.

Slice the French baguette into 2 – 3cm slices.

Mix the chopped tomatoes with the basil and oregano and spread over the sliced bread.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the tomato paste and divide the viennas evenly over the slices.

Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Tip of the day

Basic basil care
Basil wilts quickly, but will perk up when left in cool water for about 30 minutes. Then blot the leaves dry and store them at room temperature in a tightly sealed bag. If basil is stored in the refrigerator, it turns black.
