WATCH: Chocolate chia granola hearts

    cup
    oats
  • 1/2
    cup
    chocolate chips
  • 2
    tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4
    cup
    desiccated coconut
  • 1/3
    cup
    sunflower seeds
  • 1/4
    cup
    chia seeds
  • 1/4
    nut butter
  • 1/4
    cup
    coconut oil
  • 1 1/2
    Tbs
    honey
  • 2
    Tbs
    cocoa powder
 

Method

Melt the coconut oil, honey and nut butter in a saucepan over low heat.

In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and and stir. Pour out onto a prepared baking sheet and press down with a spatula or the back of a metal spoon.

Place in the fridge or freezer until set. Cut out with heart-shaped cookie cutters. Enjoy!
