    vegetable oil

    onions, chopped
  • 4
    red peppers, diced
  • 40

    fresh thyme
  • 8
    cloves
    garlic, crushed

    smoked paprika
  • 30

    cumin, ground
  • 2
    kg
    lean beef mince
  • 2

    beef stock
  • 4
    cans chopped tomatoes

    dried mixed herbs

    ml
    Maggi Original Worcestershire Sauce Lazenby

    tomato paste
  • 3
    cans red kidney beans, drained

Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onions, red pepper and fresh thyme until translucent.

Add the garlic and spices and fry for a further 4 – 5 minutes.

Add the meat and brown well with the onions and spices.

Deglaze the pot with the beef stock and then add the tomatoes, herbs, Worcestershire Sauce Lazenby and tomato paste.

Bring the mixture up to a gentle simmer and cook for 30 minutes.

Add the kidney beans and simmer for a further 15 minutes.

Serve with sour cream, fresh coriander and cheddar cheese.
