White chocolate, pear and berry bake

    pack mixed frozen berries

    white chocolate, chopped
  • 1

    cornflour
  • TOPPING:

    butter

    castor sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 100

    self-raising flour
  • 50
    g
    desiccated coconut
  • 1/4
    cup
    milk
  • icing sugar for dusting
  • whipped cream for serving
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Place the pears and frozen berries in a large bowl, add chocolate and sprinkle over cornflour. Place the mixture into a greased 23cm round ovenproof dish.

Place all the ingredients for the topping into a food mixer and beat for three minutes.

Spoon dollops of the batter over the pear and berry filling. Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes. Remove; allow to cool slightly.

To serve:
Dust with icing sugar and serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream.
