Tortellini with creamy pea and spinach sauce

Ingredients

  • 500
    g
    (2 packets) tortellini
  • 2
    tsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2
    cup
    cream
  • 2
    cup
    fresh peas, blanched
  • 2
    cup
    English/baby spinach
  • 1/2
    tsp
    crushed chilli flakes
  • nutmeg
  • sea salt and black pepper
  • parmesan for serving
 

Method

Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain, drizzle with olive oil and set aside.
Over a low heat, toss the pasta together with the cream, peas, spinach leaves, chilli and nutmeg. 
Season to taste and serve with Parmesan.
