The stickiest pork ribs

A simple marinade turns this into a finger-licking meal.

  • 2
    pork ribs, cut in half lengthways
  • 1
    tomato sauce
  • 2
    chilli flakes
  • 2
    tamarind paste
  • 50
    golden brown sugar
  • 2
    brown vinegar
  • 1/4
    wholegrain mustard
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper
Servings: Change Serving



Place the ribs in a large dish. Mix together the marinade ingredients and pour over the ribs. Allow to stand for 20 minutes.

Braai ribs until cooked through. Serve with fresh coriander and braaied mielies seasoned with chilli salt.
