Ingredients (14)

4-6 beef — minute steaks
5 ml coriander seeds — toasted and ground
salt and freshly ground black pepper
15 ml oil
60 ml fresh chillies — 573
fresh parsley — chopped
5 ml dried oregano
1-2 fresh chillies — chopped
4 garlic — cloves, crushed
30 ml vinegar — red wine
salt and freshly ground black pepper
3 large potatoes — cooked with skin on and roughly chopped
salt
1 large iceberg lettuce

Method:

1 Season the steaks with the coriander, salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a nonstick pan and fry the steaks quickly on both sides until brown.

Remove from the pan immediately and leave to rest for 5 minutes.

2 VINAIGRETTE Mix all the ingredients well and season with the salt and pepper.

3 SALAD Put the potatoes in a large mixing bowl and pour half the vinaigrette over.

Mix lightly and season with salt.

4 Arrange the lettuce on a large serving plate and arrange the potatoes on it.

5 Slice the steak and arrange on the salad.

Drizzle the rest of the vinaigrette over and serve.
