Tuna burger

Ingredients

  • 170
    g
    tinned tuna
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2
    cup
    oats
  • 1/4
    cup
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1
    cloves
    garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/3
    cup
    green peppers, finely copped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • rolls, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and mayonnaise to serve
 

Method

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together using your hands until well incorporated.

Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat and spray with cooking spray or add oil.

Form the tuna mix into patties and place onto the hot frying pan. Cook for about 3 minutes a side or until browned on both sides and warmed through.

Serve on a fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and mayonnaise.
