    self-raising flour
  • salt and cayenne pepper

    butter

    milk (you may need more)

    oil
  • 250
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 1
    tomato, thinly sliced
  • 250
    ml
    finely chopped ham (or salami)
  • 250
    ml
    grated Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 220ºC. Grease a large baking tray.

Sift together flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Chop up butter and rub in until well blended.

Add milk (as needed), knead and mix to a soft dough. Roll dough out on a baking tray until 34 cm in diameter.

Brush dough with oil, then the tomato sauce. Arrange tomato sliced on top.

Spread ham evenly over top, sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked.
