Orange marinated pork fillet with noodles

Don't know what to cook for dinner? Try this marinated pork with sesame noodles.

    fresh orange juice
  • 1
    ground coriander
  • 2
    cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1
    palm or brown sugar
  • 2
    sesame oil
  • 3
    cardamom pods, bruised
  • 1
    sambal oelek
  • a pinch of crushed dried chilli flakes
  • 2
    lime leaves
  • sea salt and black pepper
  • 2
    pork fillets, about 300g each
  • 2
  • 250
    Pad Thai rice noodles
  • 1
    sesame oil
  • 1/4
    sesame seeds, toasted
  • spring onions, coriander and orange zest
Servings: Change Serving


Mix together marinade ingredients and pour over pork fillets. Leave for 10 minutes and remove the fillets.
Heat oil in a pan and sear the pork on each side. Add marinade to the pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove fillets and let marinade reduce for 5 minutes.
Cook noodles, drain and toss with sesame oil and sesame seeds.
Slice the pork, pour over pan juices and garnish with chopped spring onions, coriander leaves and orange zest. Serve the pork with sesame noodles.
