Heat up the olive oil, fry the onions until soft, add the garlic and fry anther 2 or 3 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, red wine, oregano and salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to the boil, add the meatballs, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
serve with pasta of your choice, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
The meatballs are from What's Cookings “verneuk frikkadelle”
Use sausage out of the casings to make my meatballs, for two people you will need no more than 500g of sausage, 1 onion finely chopped and one egg.
Break up the sausage meat with a fork, add the onion and egg, mix well and form little meatballs.
