chicken chop suey

    glug vegetable oil - for frying
  • 1
    sesame oil
  • 1
    garlic and ginger paste
  • 1
    medium red chilli - deseeded and finely sliced
  • 2
    medium chicken breasts - skinless, boneless and finely sliced
  • 2
    packets stir-fry vegetables
  • 3
    packets 2-minute noodles - precooked (no sachet)
  • 1
    glug soya sauce - to serve
  • 1
    salt and milled pepper
  • 0.5
    packets coriander or basil leaves


Heat oils in a wok.

Add paste and chilli and fry for 30 seconds.

Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked. Remove and set aside.

Add vegetables and noodles and cook until vegetables are tender but crunchy.

Add soy sauce and chicken. Toss to reheat and serve with coriander.
