Aromatic chicken and olive bake

Ingredients (7)

8 chicken — drumsticks
30 ml flour
braai spice
700 g baby potatoes
1 lemon — sliced
200 ml olives — pitted
fresh thyme

Method:

Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, coat the chicken in flour and spices to taste, then heat the oil and shallow-fry until golden brown. Drain the potatoes and lightly press them with the base of a glass so they burst open slightly.

Spoon all the ingredients into an ovenproof dish, drizzle olive oil over, season to taste with salt and pepper, and bake for 30-40 minutes until aromatic and cooked through. Serve with a green salad.
