Chilli sauce
Ingredients
1
small onion, very finely chopped
2
cloves garlic, crushed
2
red chillies, seeded and finely chopped
205 g
pimientos, drained and finely chopped
410 g
whole peeled tomatoes, finely chopped
15 ml
red wine vinegar
30 ml
olive oil
Method:
Blend all ingredients together. Pour into a glass bottle with a screw-top lid.
The marinade keeps well in the fridge for up to two weeks.
Serve with grilled mealies (corn on the cob).
Makes 300 ml sauce.
