Potato sosaties

Preparation time: 15

Cooking time: 25

Ingredients
16 sosaties: small potatoes, scrubbed
16 small pickling onions
16 cherry tomatoes
1 green pepper, cut into biggish squares
8 ham or salami slices
50 ml sauce: cup oil
60 ml tomato sauce
60 ml chutney
5 ml curry
2 ml turmeric
30 ml apricot jam
5 ml salt
5 ml black pepper
250 ml white wine
5 ml cake flour

Method:
Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Sosaties: Boil the potatoes in salted water until done.
Peel.
Skewer a potato, onion, tomato, green pepper piece and meat slice alternately onto each of six sosatie sticks.

Sauce: Mix all the ingredients for the sauce except the wine and flour.
Place the sosaties in an oven-proof dish and pour over the sauce.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Skim off the oil from the sauce.
Remove the sauce from the dish, mix it with the wine and bring to the boil.
Make a paste of the flour and a little water and mix into the heated sauce. Bring to the boil.
Serve the sauce with the sosaties.
