June Vin-atics with Welmoed wines

Looking for a place to watch the footie? Look no further we've covered all your bases.

Hello Quaffers,

I can hardly believe we found time for it amongst all the football madness which is South Africa at the moment, but somehow we managed to hold another awesome Vin-atics dinner last week!

This month, our partners are Welmoed Wines and they gave us a great selection of their incredibly good value wines to match with Chef Caro’s gorgeous food. If you want to see the results – successful and otherwise - then click here.

Win a case of wine!

So the hunt is on for who is going to win the case of wine this month! All you need to do is choose a couple of the recipes, buy the odd bottle or two of the wines, find a few friends and have a party! Vicki Penfold did it last month and won herself 6 bottles of delicious KWV wines and we have a further 6 bottles of wine available for you this month. Send your pics and news from your evening to us at editor@food24.com or post them on your blog and send us the link and the best entry will win the wine.

Win even more with Welmoed Wines!

And of course, you can actually have a double-whammy of wins with Welmoed this month as they are running their ‘Beautiful Game’ competition which could get you a fantastic safari somewhere in South Africa. All Welmoed wines bought from Checkers are carrying neck labels giving further details, or you can check out their website as well.

RIP Champagne Sabayon!

When you read our exploits, you will see that we didn’t get on very well with the Champagne Sabayon this month! Think you can do any better? Then send us a mail about why you would be a cool dinner party guest and who knows – perhaps we can get you along to our next evening to prove your point!

Have fun, enjoy the football and send us your pics!

Footie-floozie hugs,
