Winter is for love handles and lots of gravy don't you think?
It's the season to be extra jolly for me and with all this dreadful cold, I simply can't help myself.
I love all the comfy roomy love my favourite jersey gives me, even when I've eaten a (humongous) bowl of lamb knuckle stew awash with sauce and nestled in a creamy hug of mashed potato.
I love all the cosy fires and buckets of red wine twinkling in the happy warmth of winter.
And I just adore all the sticky chocolate puddings, syrup drenched malvas and gooey fondants. It's simply criminal not to end your meal off with something sweet, warm and indulgent.
We love having a bit of a shindig here at Food24 (that's just the way we roll) and we had a lovely one last night.
Pick n Pay and Food24 got together and dreamed up a winter feast, and that's just what we had.

We drank delicious JC le Roux's premium Scintilla bubbles (really lovely) and yummy Nederburg wines and our winners from the competition (to win a night of feasting) were too divine. All the wonderful bloggers, writers, stylists and personalities had a grand old time, long into the night.
