I know, I know. The holidays are not quite over… (for some of you) …but it is January, the traditional month of detox.
I usually find the first few days of a detox hellish as my body has gotten quite used to chops, sosaties, garlic bread, potato bakes, braaibroodjies and lots and lots of wine and beer. But if you can get through the first week with no braai or booze then I reckon you are home-free, and besides a lingering FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) … you generally start to feel quite lekker.
