It has a sweet, almost nutty flavour and there are many varieties of this vegetable.

Use: The taste of pumpkins are enhanced with herbs, cheese, spices like nutmeg. Pumpkins make a good host for being stuffed with bread, cheese, cream, seasonings, meat and with other vegetables like broccoli and spinach, they're also delicious as pumpkin soup and in stews.
