7 'Brain food' recipes that will get you through exam time

Exam time is always stressful for students, so we gathered up a few recipes that will relax you and put your mind at ease.

Energy levels are always at an all time low at this time of the year and students will do a lot just to get a bit more energy and brain food for those strenuous hours spent studying. We have rounded up our favourite brain food recipes that are guaranteed to leave you full, energised and ready for those all nighters!  

Salmon, mackerel, tuna, and other fish are rich in heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Leafy greens like Kale, collard greens, spinach, and broccoli are good sources of vitamin E and folate. 

As one of the highest antioxidant-rich foods known to man, including vitamin C and vitamin K and fiber and because of their high levels of gallic acid, blueberries are especially good at protecting our brains from degeneration and stress. Brocolli one of the best brain foods out there. Due to its high levels of vitamin K and choline, it will help keep your memory sharp. Sage, is said to protect the 'chemical messengers' which carry information in the brain and are essential to memory. Eggs have been proven to play a central role in memory and learning. So, make a few of these meals and ace those exams!
