From seafood platters to strawberry waffles, this is a weekend menu that will fulfill any craving that you might be having.

Celebrate the end of a busy week and invite your friends over for a chilled evening. Crack open a bottle (or two) of wine and serve this delicious seafood platter, with chilli calamari, butterfly prawns, stuffed fish and garlic mussels. Round off your meal with a simple green salad.

Feed the masses and cure your morning hangover with an all-in-one breakfast pizza.

Saturday is bok day, so throw on your green and gold, raise your braai tongs in the air and show whip out the traditional recipes; this lamb shank potjie is a perfect South African dish to show your support.

If you are tired of firing up those coals every Saturday, or want to do something a little different, My Easy Cooking’s easy pasta dish has a fun South African twist.

And in the morning we’re making waffles! Try these mouth watering, strawberry, mascarpone and vanilla waffles.

Gather the family around the dining room table for a traditional Sunday roast. Mom's roast leg of pork is a perfect traditional dish, or for something a little different try this honey and soya roasted duck .

Serve your meal with tasty veggies such as balsamic roasted onions and mushrooms with deep-fried ginger and mashed potatoes with roasted garlic.

End off your weekend with a simple homemade apple pie, lathered in cream or custard.
