With so many events and parties happening over the weekend it’s difficult to remember to eat sometimes; let alone decide what to eat. We have designed a great menu for you, so have fun this weekend and fill your tummies with sumptuous recipes from Food24.
Friday
Get going with the flavours of Spain; one of our favourite bloggers Mint Tea and Tagine has created a delicious feast of pork fillet with shallots, mushrooms and sherry
served with paprika potatoes and green peppers.
Saturday
Start your Saturday off with a filling bacon, sausage and mushroom omelette.
It is the the Wacky Wine Weekend in Robertson Wine Valley this weekend, so put on your raincoats and gum-boots and prepare yourself to quaff away, it’s bound to be fun.
Don’t feel like venturing outside into the cold? Then curl up next to the fire with a bowl of tasty crispy chicken and beetroot risotto. For dessert, spoil yourself with our delicious cappuccino mousse.
Sunday
Have a bit of a lie-in this Sunday and then try these aromatic flapjacks with pecan nut butter, a great way to start off the day.
For lunch, snack on, avocado and Roquefort toasted sandwiches or for something with a hint of Greece in it; French-toasted tuna and hummus sandwiches.
End off the weekend with traditional and comforting buttered linguini with mussels and white wine, the perfect romantic meal for two.
