Beer fridge only opens with a Canadian passport.

Clever Canadians!

Amid all the controversy at the Sochi Winter Olympics one beer brand is making sure it's consumers are well stocked up for the Olympics.

@Molson_Canadian (Canada's popular beer brand) tweeted a picture of a Canadian girl using her passport to open a distinctive Moslon Beer Fridge containing beer.

The beer fridge (located at the Canadian Olympic House) can only be opened by scanning your Canadian passport. Clever neh?

This latest ploy is part of an ongoing campaign with the Molson's Passport Fridge.

According to an article groceries and other products like grape vodka and oysters are particularly hard to come by at the Sochi Olympics due to strict security measures.

Watch this video to see how the Passport Beer Fridge works.

We think the fridge will be a hit... with Canadians.
