Opening in the V&A Waterfront, Mondiall ‘Kitchen and Bar’ is a joint venture between acclaimed Relais & Châteaux Grand Chef Peter Tempelhoff and internationally experienced Restaurateur Patrick Symington.
Currently undergoing a complete transformation in the original ‘Green
Dolphin Jazz Restaurant’ location, this buzzing new must-go destination
will sport an elegant, yet relaxed vibe in a prime Waterfront setting
with harbour and Table Mountain views.
Peter explains that his vision for Mondiall is to create a social
hub, and to offer Capetonians a place to experience great all day dining
in a casual, but stylish setting at the Waterfront.
Peter wants Mondiall to be an
expression of his travels, and his regard for simple, classic food. Along with Patrick, he is excited to bring to Cape Town, a celebration
of the world’s greatest dishes enhanced by the best wines from the
region, and slick service to match.
Between Tempelhoff, Symington and appointed Head Chef Oliver Cattermole, Mondiall is
fuelled by vibrant energy and a wealth of experience that is set to
raise the bar in terms of food, service, ambience and design.
Menus will be based on regional and fresh, seasonal cuisine combined with the traditional elements of a classic Brasserie.
Guests can expect an exciting repertoire of some of the world’s greatest and most popular dishes, infused with a modern Tempelhoff twist that is inspired by Cape culture and culinary influences.
Mondiall will be open seven days a week, offering unbuttoned elegance
over breakfast and brunch, lunch and light meals, cocktails, sundowners
and dinner, as well as a cool after-dinner social scene.
