Heston Blumenthal eats at La Colombe

Heston Blumenthal swung by to see what the 12th best restaurant in the world has on offer.

Heston Blumenthal, famed molecular gastronomist and founder of The Fat Duck in the UK, which is ranked 3rd in the world visited La Colombe for dinner on Tuesday evening.

Luke Dale-Roberts, La Colombe's executive chef met Heston in London where they were both interviewed by BBC shortly after La Colombe was awarded 12th place in The San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants of the World awards. See the video here

‘’It was fantastic to welcome Heston to La Colombe after we spent time together in London at the 50 Best Restaurants Awards. The staff were excited to meet him as he is an amazing and inspirational chef’’ says Luke.

The Fat Duck has been awarded 3 Michelin stars and is known for dishes like snail porridge and bacon and egg ice cream.
