Food and Sex

Double decadence is never a bad thing, especially this close to Valentine's. This article is not for the faint-hearted.

Food and sex can spell evenings full of naughty, messy fun. But when is it satisfying and when is it just… icky? We at Food24 have compiled a useful list of do’s and don’ts… but be warned: don’t read on if the concept of cream bikinis offends you.

Get too hot: Peri-peri fingers might be very lickable, but just because we like chilli wedges doesn’t mean we want it close to our desirable parts. Chillies might an aphrodisiac, but if you get in anything open… playtime is over.

Spike your fruit: Yes we know strawberries are sexy, but we are talking about pineapples, kiwis, prickly pears … you get the idea. Just say no.

Go golden with care: Remember: there is sticky good and sticky bad. Golden syrup sounds like a do, and can be a do, only when used with great care. Once it gets stuck on hairy bits, it’s game over and shower time. (Which could work too though.)

Get too violent: If you have the whole ‘movie image’ in your head: the violent clearing of the counter while he lifts you onto the table top before he… make sure there’s no sharp objects in the way. It’s not fun getting hot and sitting on a fork.

Hive it up: Cream has always been a favourite, but make sure your partner is not lactose intolerant.

Use chocolate: Any and everywhere... tasty. In fact, consider chocolate, the vanilla ingredient of any sex foodie’s play stash.

Edible panties: There is a variety of these naughty undergarments so go wild and explore!

Strawberries and cream: This combo is a sex cliché for a reason… it works. It’s real simple, dip strawberry in cream and enjoy. Ring the changes with a bikini out of the whipped cream for the ladies and for the gents a little Speedo-inspired number.

Sushi sex: This is a tried-and-tested method from one our team members. If you have a deep enough belly button pour in some Soya sauce. Trail the sushi up to your breast and then use your chopsticks placing the wasabi on the strategic mound… Now guess who is blushing.

Popsicle, sucker or ice-lolly: Wet in your mouth then glide the lolly all over the body will lead to certain parts of the body standing to attention. Mmm! Flavoured nipples…

Champagne and strawberries: Are a popular favourite among men and women. Strawberries give champagne a more intense flavour the combination accentuates the senses. We’re sure you can come up with your own ideas for some cork-popping moments.

Enough to go on for now? Enjoy.
