DA Facebook page ridicules ANC's Sylvia Lucas

The DA have posted an infographic of ANC Northern Cape Premier Sylvia Lucas' supposed eating habits on their Facebook wall.

The Democratic Alliance have posted an infographic on their Facebook page highlighting the "Fast Food" scandal that recently surrounded Northern Cape Premier Sylvia Lucas.

Lucas reportedly spent R53 159 on fast food in her first 10 weeks in office.

According to timeslive.co.za she spent R11 956 on food in Kimberley, the official premier's residence, in August 2013.

Lucas told the Sunday Times newspaper the shop was conveniently "close to her home".

According to Lucas: "When we go out of Kimberley, we go to the SuperSpar and we buy water and Powerade and cool drinks. We need Powerade for the energy, you know,".

The DA have highlighted one of Lucas' comments in response to the scandal in their infographic: "how could we have eaten if we didn't use taxpayers money?".

Do you think this is a fair food fight?
