According to today’s Die Burger newspaper, Burger King had no need for
sold over 3 000 meals in the first 4 weeks of opening and have sold a
whopping 1 ton of their specialty Whopper Burgers.
These numbers come as no surprise with the non-stop queues in the city centre and patrons often waiting up to an hour to be served.
The question is whether the queues will shorten with 12 more branches set to
open throughout South Africa in the next year.
Is that Whopper really worth the wait?
