A steak in it!

Review your local steakhouse and win with Food24!

by: Cathrine Shone: Food24 Restaurant Ed | 09 Jun 2009

The trademark of a great steakhouse is consistency. A consistently good cut which is consistently cooked exactly to your liking is where it's at.

It’s not a small matter of preference when you declare to all within earshot EXACTLY how you would like your steak done. It's a BIG deal. Make a mistake once, and you're out!

Personally, I like mine so that if I gave it a shot of penicillin it would give a resounding "Moooo" and gallop off my plate. Others prefer theirs cremated, and most are somewhere in between. But at the end of the day it's a personal thing not to be trifled with.

Win! win! win!
You might have already pledged allegiance to your perfect steakhouse or, you might be shopping around for a new one. Either way we've got the goods.

This week we are giving away THREE dinners for two at The Hussar Grill. These premier Cape Town grillrooms have come to the party and are offering vouchers (to the tune of R400 each) to the top three steakhouse reviews to come our way.

All you need to do is review a South African steakhouse for us. The good, the bad or the ugly… We care more about the quality of the review, so people know where to flock when the carnivore inside calls …and where to avoid.

If you don't live ANYWHERE near Camps Bay, Rondebosch or Greenpoint, don't fret, you could still be in line for a prize. We're also giving away two R250 Kalahari book vouchers to two lucky reviewers.

On Thursday we'll reveal SA's top steakhouses as nominated by you as well as the winning reviews!

Get reviewing people. The steaks are high!
