Berry and lime tea

    ml
    Darjeeling tea leaves
  • 1
    Litres
    boiling water
  • 125
    ml
    sugar
  • 85
    ml
    lime juice
  • 1
    lime, zest
  • 60
    ml
    mixed berries
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
Place tea in water and allow to steep for five minutes. Strain and mix tea with sugar, limejuice and zest. Add berries and serve over crushed ice. Makes 4 cups.

Basil wilts quickly, but will perk up when left in cool water for about 30 minutes. Then blot the leaves dry and store them at room temperature in a tightly sealed bag. If basil is stored in the refrigerator, it turns black.
