Ingredients (10)

500.00 ml orange juice
400.00 ml pineapple — and carrot juice
1.00 lemon — zest and juice
150.00 ml sugar
500.00 ml water
6.00 cloves — whole
2.00 ml nutmeg — ground
2.00 ml cinnamon — ground
750.00 ml ginger ale
ice

Method:

Blend the fruit juices and the lemon rind. Chill.
Mix the sugar, water, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon in a saucepan and heat until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil and remove from the heat. Cool and add to the fruit juice and chill.
Add the ginger ale and crushed ice just before serving.
Serves 10 (makes about 2 1/2 litres).
