Gelatine
An animal product/ extract that comes from the bones of animals.

Use: It's mainly used in desserts like sweet or savoury jellies and pudding, gelatine comes in powder form or in leaves, although it can also be used in various dishes. Gelatine is used to give the dessert a firm setting. Agar-agar is the vegetarian alternative.
