Hot garlic oysters
Ingredients
150 g
butter
1
clove garlic, crushed
1
onion, peeled and finely chopped
30 ml
parsley or dill, chopped
1
lemon, juice
12
oysters, shucked
fresh breadcrumbs, to cover
Method:
Mix butter, garlic and onion together. Add the lemon juice. Place oysters in a roasting pan and spread butter over them. Sprinkle liberally with breadcrumbs and cook them under a very hot grill for about 5 minutes or until the butter begins to bubble and the crumbs brown slightly. Scatter with chopped parsley or dill and serve immediately.
Serves 2.
