Choc-chip cookies

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cooking time: 12 minutes

Ingredients
140 g cake flour
1 ml salt
2 ml bicarbonate of soda
1 ml ground cinnamon
90 g butter
110 g castor sugar
50 g brown sugar
1 large egg
150 g dark chocolate or peppermint crisp, broken into chunks

Method:
1. Sift together flour, salt, bicarbonate of soda and cinnamon. 2. Beat together butter and sugar until light. Add egg and beat well. Stir in flour mixture and chocolate pieces and mix until well combined. 3. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased baking tray, leaving space in between each one for spreading. 4. Bake in preheated 190 ºC oven for 10 to 12 minutes, allow to cool on baking tray for five minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
