Method:
For this calm down lunch box we are going to combine the calming influence of carbohydrates and VitB6 with a delicious lunch box consisting of pasta salad and a sweet treat.
Did you know that carbohydrates induces a sense of calm through its ability to produce the neurotransmitter serotonin, that is responsible for a relaxed, calm feeling.
Calming carbs So calm down with this delicious chicken pasta salad. Boil the pasta until it is al dente. Drain, rinse and set aside. Then mix in some yogurt and mayonnaise, season to taste and combine with cooled pasta and remaining ingredients.
For a sweet treat add either a banana oat cookie or a raisin square. Bananas and raisins are both high in VitB6 that assists with the production of serotonin.
