Pork kebabs seasoned with indian spices

Preparation time: 20

Cooking time: 30

Ingredients
1 kg pork neck, cubed
250 ml plain yoghurt
15 ml ground coriander
15 ml turmeric
1 large green chilli, finely chopped
5 ml ground cumin
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 ginger, finely grated, 3 cm
30 ml chopped fresh coriander
5 ml salt
10 ml finely grated lemon rind
30 ml olive oil for frying

Method:
Put the pork cubes in a glass bowl. Mix the remaining ingredients except the olive oil and rub the mixture into the meat cubes.
Cover and marinate for at least 5 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and soak 4 large kebab skewers in water.
Thread the meat cubes onto the skewers. Heat the oil in a nonstick pan and fry the kebabs for 2 minutes on each side.
Put the kebabs on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 5 minutes.
Leave the meat to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with fresh coleslaw.
