I have only been to The Blowfish and it, well, blew me away. Not for every kind of wallet but definitely worth it. With an ocean backdrop, windows like surround-sound, the salt in the air and the caw of gulls. You could almost feel like in a dream. The seating is very comfortable and the settings laid out like garnish on the table. We had the sushi which, simply put, was the best I have ever had. Straight out of the sea, must've been. Would recommend The Blowfish for any special occasion, or one you would want to remember

If you love sushi or seafood you have to go to Blowfish at Dolphin Beach Cape Town. They have the most delicious sushi and seafood, and there waiters are very professional. The restaurant is on the beach and while you enjoy the excellent food you can watch a spectacular sunset.

The food as always was first class. The evening however was spoilt by the extremely pushy waitress. She continually tried to push more alcohol down our throats, even those that weren't drinking

Service was amazing from the minute you walked in the door to the waitrons being on top of their game. And the food is well prepared, presented and tastes good. Kudos to the management and staff, i would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Blow Fish, Dolphin Beach Hotel, Blaauwberg Cae Town, Freshest, purest Sushi ever, well done to the two chefs, excellent ! If you're concerned about price you shouldn't be dining out.

The Blowfish is pretty expensive considering that you would get considerably better value down the road at the Ocean Basket. Very expensive and the food aint so great.

This place was ok, the atmosphere was a bit strange, the food was good though. Service was ok, have had better though.
And I thought it was very over priced for the amount of food that we got.

We recently relocated from Jhb to the Blouberg area, and after hearing much about Blowfish and being sushi lovers, we couldn't wait to go and try it out. What a disappointment. Service was shocking, then after waiting forever for our starters, we ordered sushi, to only be told 15 minutes later that the sushi was finished!!!?? The only compensation they could offer was what was left on the conveyor belt. We left immediately, and have never returned. Of course our once a week sushi patronage has been lost to another establishment, and we do tell all our friends about this bad experience.

If you love Sushi, this is a place for you. Their Sunday and Tuesday specials are really value for money. Staff are very good and knowledgeable about the menu.

Book a table next to the window and get the best view in Cape Town. With excellent quality sushi making their rounds on the conveyor belt and a bottle of rose champers, u are guaranteed a dining experience that can't be bettered! *two thumbs up*
