Used to be my favourite, but the last few times we were disappointed. Its not cheap - but the food was always exceptional. Not any more. I hear the owner chef is focussed on some new project elsewhere - and it shows. Sorry Ginja - you are off my list.

What a monumental rip off. We were charged R100.00 for a green salad in a bowl only slightly bigger than a cereal bowl. We ordered two. The salad had a few basil leaves, one rosa tomato, one slice of cucumber and three olives. The dressing was mediocre at best. The fish portion was so small we had to order a second main course because we were still very hungry. This after being assured that the portions were adequate. When we queried the bill we were basically told - tough, pay! Never, ever again.

I would just like to take the time to thank you for a fantastic evening at Ginja Saturday. Thank you for your willingness to accommodate me with my gluten free requests. It is much appreciated in how you treated me as I don't get the same treatment from other restaurants. The food was awesome!
