Samp and beans (Umngqusho)
Ingredients
500 g
dried sugar beans
500 g
dried corn kernels (samp)
5 ml
salt
water to cover
Method:
Bring water to the boil, add all ingredients and enough water to cover completely (about four litres). Cook until very soft, about three hours.
