Patatas bravas

Ingredients
750 g potatoes, peeled and halved
5 ml salt
olive oil for shallow-frying
25 ml paprika
2 ml Tabasco sauce

Method:
Sprinkle the potatoes with the salt and drain them in a sieve for 10 minutes.
Shake the sieve to remove any excess moisture.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat and fry the potatoes until soft.
Remove from the pan and drain.
Heat the oil once more and fry the potatoes again until crisp and golden brown.
Drain and sprinkle with the paprika and Tabasco sauce.
