Pescito frito
Ingredients
500 g
fresh sardines or whitebait
75 ml
fresh breadcrumbs
1
egg
75 ml
flour
400 ml
oil for frying
salt and pepper
Method:
1. Clean the fish, rinse and dry and season with salt. First dip the fish into beaten egg and then into the seasoned flour and fresh breadcrumbs. Leave the coating to dry for a while.
2. Heat the oil and fry about 4 fish at a time until golden, about 2 minutes.
3. Lift out and drain on kitchen paper. Serve with lemon wedges.
