Sundae sublime
Ingredients
1 litre
chocolate fudge ice cream
16
white marshmallows, melted
CARAMELISED WALNUTS
125 ml
white sugar
1 kg
walnuts
Method:
Remove ice cream from container and cut into 12 thick slices. Pile 3 slices on each of 4 plates.
Pour melted marshmallows over, and immediately place under a hot grill until lightly browned. Decorate with caramelised walnuts.
CARAMELISED WALNUTS: Gently heat sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved and turned a deep caramel colour. Place walnuts on a baking sheet and pour some caramel carefully over each nut. Leave to cool and set.
