Fragrant curry minute steaks
Ingredients
800 g
minute steaks
MARINADE
30 ml
each soy sauce and oil
30 ml
curry powder
PEANUT SAUCE
200 ml
peanut butter
200 ml
milk
2
cloves garlic, crushed
15 ml
grated ginger
1
anchovy fillet, chopped
soy sauce
Method:
1. Place 4 skewers in lukewarm water and leave to soak for 30 minutes.
2. Thread meat on to skewers and coat with a mixture of soy sauce, oil and curry powder. Allow to rest for 30 minutes before grilling quickly on each side.
3. To make peanut sauce, stir peanut butter into milk a little at a time to make a thick sauce. Season with garlic, ginger, anchovy fillet and soy sauce. Serve with steaks.
