Deep-fried basil leaves
Ingredients
basil leaves
oil for deep-frying
Method:
Heat enough oil for deep frying in a saucepan and fry fairly small leaves for 1-2 seconds. Remove immediately from the oil and drain. Take care not to burn yourself as the moisture on the leaves is inclined to make the oil spatter.
